2015 BMW 4 Series –

The BMW 428i is a great sporty vehicle. It has sleek lines that everyone loves, and when the windows are tinted, it becomes even more sporty. The interior is not spacious, so if you need to use the back seat, just beware it is suited primarily for a small person. It is low slung, so getting in requires a little agility, but once seated, you feel like you’re in a super sports car. The leather interior and styling is luxurious feeling. The electronics are up to date and include voice commands for various functions with an easy to use dial in the console area. The sound system is excellent as is all the driving functions—from auto to sports mode. Its tagline is accurate in when it is called the driving machine. On the highway, it is smooth and fast. Since it is a sports car, the wheel steering is tight but will respond beautifully. The equipment is great from the run-flat tires to the transmission and engine. There is not a lot to dislike with this car beyond the fact that it is a BMW so there is a bit of a price tag. It can be a little pricey. The only problem that once it is out of warranty, the service/maintenance costs are pretty high. Otherwise, I highly recommend this vehicle.

Story

I put the sunroof back on a bright and sunny day and sped down Pacific Coast Highway staring at the ocean and saying, “Look what I am doing”!

Pros

The back seat can drop forward to allow access from the trunk so a golf bag, etc. can be fit through. The voice command to make a call while driving and the other capabilities of completing activities through the electronic system is great.

Cons

Only thing negative is the run-flat wheels are sensitive to temperature, so periodically, I get a message warning about a low tire even though that is not the case. Only other thing is it is a little difficult to drop down into if you are not quite agile, and the back seat is small.

2014 BMW 4 Series – Get into the BMW lifestyle for cheap

I recently purchased a certified pre-owned BMW from BMW of Riverside. The model I chose was a 2014 428i Sport with just under 45k miles. At first glance, this car looks great. It has sleek lines and the sportiness of a true two-door coupe. When you get into the cabin, you immediately realize the pristine level of craftsmanship from this German-engineered sports car. From the leather-wrapped steering wheel to the aluminum accented trim, the car screams luxury. It’s not until you press the gas pedal, however, until this car comes alive. While it’s only got a four-cylinder, the car outputs around 250hp which is plenty for a car of this size. In short, it’s quick; reaching 0–60 in just six seconds. At 40 grand it came well equipped, including an 8-inch navigation screen, Xenon headlights,… (more)

At 40 grand it came well equipped, including an 8-inch navigation screen, Xenon headlights, fog lamps, heated seats, automatic braking, adaptive cruise control, and blind spot monitoring. While other cars have these options, BMW always pulls it off best. This truly is a great car for those looking to get into the BMW brand for a reasonable price.

Story

I pulled up next to this guy in an old Mustang. The car sounded like a lawnmower. He revved his engine and wanted to do a quick race once the light turned green. I smoked him.

Pros

It’s fast. It looks great. And it’s incredibly comfortable. It has an eight-inch navigation screen with Bluetooth audio and live traffic maps. This makes the car great for long road trips and tends to make it a very “livable” space. I wouldn’t trade this car for the world.

Cons

I’ve owned several BMWs over the course of my lifetime. I must say that while they are some of the most reliable cars on the market, they do have their set of problems. Most of the issues lie in the electronics and tend to be error codes that are actually false. This means that you may get a random error code every now and then, despite everything working normally in your car. Sometimes you get in and a light will come on, sometimes it wont. They tend to be pretty finicky. However, with that being said, I have never had a problem with this particular car. This could be because this car is … (more)

This could be because this car is about ten years newer than my last BMW, however I opted for the extended warranty anyway.
