Who knew there were so many ways to make money on Amazon! Clever fella that Jeff Bezos, no wonder he’s one of the richest men in the world.

Of all the eCommerce money-making opportunities available today, how to make money selling on Amazon stands head and shoulders above the rest.

In fact, building a lifestyle business for ourselves on the foundations of an Amazon FBA private-label business helped us achieve our dream of becoming digital nomads―a life of freedom & traveling the world. Isn’t it time you did it for yourself too?
Let’s look at 21 ways you can make money on Amazon in 2023 and beyond.
#1. Make Money on Amazon With Amazon FBA
Nội Dung Chính
A quick summary of the opportunity
Amazon FBA is a fulfillment service provided by Amazon to third-party sellers. You create your own product, store it in Amazon’s warehouse, and they’ll ship it directly to a shopper when you make a sale.
Amazon FBA in more detail
Amazon is not the only business to sell products via its enormous eCommerce website. Pretty much any adult can apply to become a third-party seller on Amazon and reach the millions of shoppers that use the Amazon Marketplace every day.
You can use the Amazon platform in two ways. The first is a bit like eBay. You list products for sale which you keep stock of at home. Then, after you make a sale, you ship it directly to the customer, and Amazon charges you a small selling fee.
The alternative, and better way to start selling on Amazon is selling products using their FBA program. FBA, otherwise known as Fulfilment By Amazon, is a service provided to third-party sellers where Amazon handles logistics for you.
You can store your products for sale in one of Amazon’s warehouses; then, Amazon will ship it directly to the customer once you sell an item.
There are several benefits when you use the FBA program:
- You don’t need to organize your own warehousing so you can operate the business from anywhere in the world.
- Shipping and logistics are not the best use of an entrepreneur’s time, so you can focus on growing the business instead.
But what to sell on Amazon to make money?
You sell your own product, known as a Private Label product, which you design and have manufactured, usually in China. Ideally, your product will be small and light for cheap global shipping costs and sell for under $100.
Recent research by JungleScout found that 51% of the products sold by third-party sellers are priced between $11 and $25. The Home & Kitchen section is a popular category, followed closely by Sports & Outdoors.
You can find a manufacturer for your product on sites like Alibaba or use the tools from JungleScout, who can hook you up with their curated manufacturers’ directory. Getting started does not require a massive investment―40% of FBA sellers begin by investing less than $2,500.
How to start making money on Amazon FBA
Selling on Amazon via the FBA program is not a business you can start overnight. So before you jump in with both feet, it’s essential to educate yourself thoroughly about the opportunity.

#2. Make Money on Amazon With Retail Arbitrage
A quick summary of the opportunity
Flip branded products for profit that you find discounted in brick-and-mortar retail stores.
Retail Arbitrage in more detail
You don’t have to sell your own private label product as an FBA seller. You can legally sell branded products via Amazon that you buy at discount rates, usually at large ‘big-box’ stores.
Retail Arbitrage is all about supply and demand. A major chain store may have over-stocked an item or need to free up space in their warehouse, so they put an item on sale at a really low price.
You can buy multiples of that item and send them into the Amazon Warehouse for sale via the FBA program.
One thing to be aware of is that you won’t be able to sell every discounted item you find. Some brands restrict the reselling of their products on the Amazon platform. Plus, when you initially start selling on Amazon, you are limited to certain categories until you have built up a track record.
So before you buy anything to flip with FBA retail arbitrage, check that you have permission to sell it with the Amazon Seller smartphone app. You scan a product’s barcode to see the selling price on Amazon and if you can resell it.
There are a couple more caveats to this method, too. You are not guaranteed to find bargains every time you go looking for them. And delivering sizeable returns requires you to visit multiple stores to buy multiples of stock, so it’s a fair bit of work.
But, retail arbitrage is an accessible entry method for selling on Amazon. You can get to learn the ins and outs of trading on the platform, it requires little money to start, and you can use it as a way to build up some capital to launch another Amazon business.

#3. Make money on Amazon with Online Arbitrage
A quick summary of the opportunity
Similar to retail arbitrage, but this time, you find products to flip on Amazon by hunting down deals online.
Amazon Online Arbitrage in more detail
This superb Amazon online business idea is perfect for those who don’t want the hassle of trawling around big-box stores looking for retail arbitrage opportunities. You can look to exploit the price differences of products sold at lower prices on online stores other than Amazon.
It’s a perfect starter idea for those without a car or restricted to staying at home (ideal for Pandemics!).
While there is specialist software to help you hunt down arbitrage opportunities, it can be expensive, and some people find it hard to find enough deals with sufficient profit to justify the software’s cost.
Instead, it’s worthwhile working it the other way around. Identify products that attract a premium on Amazon, then set alerts for the products on eCommerce sites like eBay.
Many who follow the online arbitrage model look to specialize in a single product niche. One you can start with is second-hand books. Some used books retain a good reselling value, especially textbooks. You can pick the books up cheaply on eBay and flip them on Amazon for profit.
Another niche is used electronics: some vintage technology has a high resale value. Here’s an example;
This Sony DVD was sold for £67.99 on eBay.
But on Amazon, this model sells at a much higher price.

#4. Make money on Amazon by Self Publishing on Kindle KDP
A quick summary of the opportunity
Make money on by writing and self-publishing Amazon e-books.
Amazon KDP self-publishing in more detail
The Amazon Kindle e-reader is an e-book device that provides access to millions of books for millions of readers.
Way back when, if you wanted to become a published author, you had to write up your manuscript, make multiple copies, then send them out to publishing houses (and wait for the inevitable rejection slips to roll in).
Today, with the advent of digital self-publishing, no-one can stop you from becoming a published author. Simply write a book, convert it into Kindle e-book format, and list it for sale on the Amazon website.
E.L. James famously became a multi-millionaire when she wrote and self-published 50 Shades of Grey. But, to earn money from self-publishing, you don’t need to write fiction or even a very long book.
You can earn money from selling short non-fiction ebooks via the Amazon KDP program.

Many people start by writing a short 30-50 page book on a subject they know. It could be a topic like growing tomatoes or knitting wool socks.
It doesn’t matter if you think the topic is a small niche. The millions of Kindle users mean that you should be able to find a market for it.
When you list your book with Amazon, it appears for sale as quickly as 24 hours, and you get to keep around 70% of the selling price.
The people who make good money with the Kindle KDP program write and upload multiple books, as not everything you write is guaranteed to sell well. So instead of writing the next Pulitzer Prize-winning novel, write numerous shorter non-fiction guides.

#5. Make Money on Amazon Self Publishing Print Books
A quick summary of the opportunity
Not everyone has a Kindle reader, so you can also self-publish regular paperback books via Amazon print-on-demand.
Self-publishing print books in more detail
While e-readers are popular, not everyone likes them, and many still prefer the smell and feel of a new paperback book. So to serve this consumer group, Amazon offers a print-on-demand (POD) service to self-publishing authors.
In the past, it was possible to self-publish a paperback book, but it required a hefty investment for the initial print run―and you weren’t guaranteed to recoup the investment if your book didn’t sell well.
With print-on-demand, as the name suggests, your book is only printed after a customer has bought it. You don’t have to invest anything upfront, as the printing cost is deducted from your cut of the book sale.
With Amazon Print on Demand, you can get to market fast with the books you write and ensure that you never run out of stock.
Royalties are a little lower than Kindle-KDP at 60%, and the cost for printing a POD book is approximately $1 for a 300-page book. You can usually sell a paperback book at a higher price than a digital e-book, as they have a perceived higher value being a tangible object.
The print on demand service is currently only available in the US, EU, and Japanese Amazon Marketplaces.
How to get started making money with Amazon Self Publishing Print Books
Start by checking out the Amazon Print-on-Demand Guide. The same self-publishing groups found on Youtube and Facebook will also be able to share knowledge. Amazon runs free webinars, too, to guide you through the self-publishing process.
#6. Make Money on Amazon With No Content and Low Content Books
A quick summary of the opportunity
You can still take advantage of print on demand self-publishing even if you don’t think you can write well enough. You can design and self-publish no-content books instead.
No-content and low-content book publishing in more detail
No-content and low-content books are pretty much as they sound―print on demand books containing little to no content at all.
But why would someone buy a book with no content?
Usually, because they are using the book as a notebook or journal. Here is an example of a typical page inside a low-content print-on-demand book;
It takes less than an hour to design a layout like this in a word processor. Next, you build up the book’s design, so it shows on every page, then format it for printing.
There are plenty of different ideas for no-content and low-content books. Popular designs include;
- Children’s activity books.
- Puzzles and games.
- Adult or children’s coloring books.
- Journals, diaries, and other workbooks.
- Calendars.
The old saying not to judge a book by its cover certainly doesn’t apply to this Amazon business idea. The primary way you’ll attract sales is down to the strength of your cover design.
So you will need to put a decent amount of effort into getting the design right. Think about targeting keywords and niches rather than producing general notebooks; here’s an example of the sort of thing you might do―
If you’re not strong on graphic design, you can hire a designer cheaply on Fiverr or Upwork to do the job for you.
Making money from no-content and low-content books is a numbers game. The low barrier to entry and speed you can get your idea to market means there is a lot of competition.
You’re really only selling a blank book with a design. So it’s not unusual for people using this make money method to upload thousands of designs.

#7. Make money on Amazon with Amazon Associates
A quick summary of the opportunity
One of the easiest routes for how to make money on the amazon marketplace. Make money by sending shopping traffic to the Amazon store as an affiliate marketer.
Amazon Associates in more detail
Affiliate marketing is nearly as old as the internet. When you refer a web user to an eCommerce page and they buy something, the eCommerce site rewards you with a commission payment.
Amazon’s affiliate program is one of the largest globally, and they call it Amazon Associates. You can promote every single one of the millions of products that are sold on Amazon, making it an easy way to monetize your web traffic.
The affiliate’s reward is usually around 3-5% of the product’s sale price, but it can be as high as 12%, depending on the category.
One of the great benefits of the Amazon Associates program is that you receive a commission for everything a shopper buys for 24 hours after they followed your Amazon affiliate link.
So if you are promoting Yoga Mats, but the shopper buys some Yoga Pants too, then you receive a commission payment for both items, plus anything else they purchase in a 24 hour period.
You obviously need a source of web traffic to send over to the Amazon store, which means you need to be a content creator. But what kind should you be?
You can use any method you like! Keen writers can create blogs around a favorite topic, those comfortable in front of a camera can launch a YouTube channel. You just need to build an audience in your chosen niche to redirect to complementary products occasionally.
One note of caution, it can take some time to build up an audience for your content, especially a blog or YouTube channel. So alongside your main content channel, launch associated social media accounts to help divert people to your primary content.

#8. Make Money on Amazon as an Amazon Influencer
A quick summary of the opportunity
If you’re wondering how to make money reviewing amazon products, the AIP program could be for you.
Promote products for an affiliate commission as an Amazon Influencer via your Social Media accounts.
Amazon influencer in more detail.
Influencer marketing is now big business. In just a few short years, it’s gone from an easy way for celebrities to earn extra dollars from product placement to a global industry worth an estimated $5-$10 billion annually.
Influencer marketing works because it taps into that all-so-important social proof, which plays a large part in deciding on online purchases. Before a shopper parts with their hard-earned cash online, they check for things like reviews from previous purchasers.
Influencer product recommendation is just another form of social proof. The shopper holds the influencer as an authority in a topic or niche, and so they are happy to act on any product recommendations they make.
You don’t need to be a Kardashian or even a minor celebrity to become an Influencer―all you need is an audience that respects your opinion on a topic. Influencing is predominantly done on social media channels.
Instagram is a major one, as is YouTube, and not forgetting Twitter and Facebook. If you have a sizable audience on any of these social media platforms, you could potentially be accepted to the Amazon Influencer Program (AIP).
While you earn money from affiliate commissions, the AIP is slightly different from the Amazon Associates one. Some social media platforms (especially Instagram) don’t readily accept affiliate links.
So the AIP provides an Influencer with their own page on the Amazon marketplace. You can select a range of products to show on your page; then, you can direct your social media followers to visit your page to buy the products you recommend.
There are a couple of points to be aware of with this Amazon money-making idea.
- You aren’t guaranteed to be accepted into the program, which is still relatively new.
- Making a decent income will require a large following or a small dedicated following with lots of high-priced products to promote.

#9. Make Money on Amazon With ACX Audiobooks
A quick summary of the opportunity
Earn money with Amazon Audible by narrating your KDP book and selling the audio via ACX.com.
Amazon ACX audiobooks in more detail
ACX.com is an Amazon company for authors wanting to sell an audio version of their book.
Audiobooks are growing in popularity and it’s big business. A marketing insights report states that during the forecast period of 2021 – 2027, the global market for audiobooks will grow at a compound annual growth rate of 24.4%.
Amazon Audible is Amazon’s brand channel name for audiobooks, and they are sold from the Amazon Kindle store, the audible website, and Apples’ iTunes.
So how do you enter this market?
First of all, you need to have written your own book (see Idea #4). The usual advice applies here; research your market first to make sure your book is in a hot niche, and then write it yourself or get a freelancer to do it for you.
Once your book is published on the Amazon Kindle store, you can then record an audio version and release that for sale too.
There are two routes you can choose;
Record the audio yourself in a home studio. There are some specific audio quality requirements, so make sure you can meet them with some test recordings before recording the whole book.
If you are not confident that your voice is suitable for audio narration, you can hire a sound producer to record the audio for you instead. These are freelance audio actors who earn money recording the audio versions of other people’s books.
One of the great benefits of entering this market is that you are selling a digital product, so the overheads are low. You only need to record your book once, and then you can sell the digital file repeatedly.

#10. Make Money on Amazon by Narrating Other’s Books for ACX
A quick summary of the opportunity
Make money as a voice artist, recording the audiobook version of an author’s text.
ACX audio narration services in more detail
If you’re not great at writing but have a voice made for radio, you could earn money as an audiobook narrator sound producer on ACX.com. ACX.com is an Amazon company that handles their audiobook side of the business.
Audiobooks are growing in popularity. Some people prefer to listen to books rather than read one, as it can be a great use of time on the daily commute or a nice way to relax in the evening if they can’t summon the energy to read.
While authors like Michelle Obama or Stephen Fry may be the most popular of the new breed of author/narrators, thousands of writers don’t want to narrate their own books.
It could be because they don’t like the sound of their recorded voice or don’t have the time or equipment to produce a quality recording. This is where the role of the audiobook narrator comes in.
It’s a freelance role, so to land gigs, you’ll need to pitch for work and record audition pieces. Fortunately, ACX.com provides a place for matching up authors looking for narrators with golden vocal cords.
You will need to have a high-quality microphone, sound recording software, and a quiet place to record your work.
You can be paid for audiobook narration on ACX.com in three ways;
- A straightforward per-hour rate.
- A share of audiobook royalties of up to 50%.
- A combination of the two.
As far as Amazon side hustle jobs go, this is one of the most lucrative.
Someone new to this line of work can expect to earn $100 per finished hour of audio recording, though if you are blessed with a rich and pleasant-sounding voice, top earners can make as much as $500 per recorded hour.

#11. Make Money on Amazon With Amazon Wholesale
A quick summary of the opportunity
Sell high-demand branded products in bulk on Amazon Marketplace.
Amazon Wholesale in more detail
The Amazon wholesale model is different from the private label method the majority of third-party sellers use.
Instead of designing a product under your own brand and finding a manufacturer for it in somewhere like China, you buy existing, popular branded products directly from the manufacturer and list them for sale via FBA.
It’s different from the arbitrage model mentioned in Idea #2, too. Instead of hunting down discounts in brick-and-mortar retail shops for a handful of products, you look to buy pallets of products at an attractive wholesale price.
As you are selling products from existing brands on Amazon, the competition is pretty fierce. You don’t have that many options other than having to compete on price when trying to win a sale, so the margins found in the Amazon Wholesale model are usually pretty thin.
In reality, your only path to profit is the price you negotiate when you buy in bulk from the manufacturer. The lower price you can buy the stock for before you send it to Amazon, the more money you’ll make in the long run.
Another benefit of selling existing branded products is you don’t have to create listings or produce photos if you don’t want to and can piggy-back off the strength of existing listings. However, some wholesale sellers like to create a new, better listing when existing ones don’t rank well.
Because profit margins are often slim, some Amazon Wholesale sellers sell using both the FBA and FBM models―sometimes fulfilling the orders yourself can give you a marginally better return over FBA.
As a result, many of those that do the Amazon Wholesale model have their own space to store significant product volumes. It doesn’t have to be a warehouse, you could use your garage or a local storage unit, but you need a decent amount of space when margins are thin.
How much can you make? JungleScout says 61% of wholesale sellers sell over $5000 or more of product every month.

#12. Make Money on Amazon With Amazon Handmade
A quick summary of the opportunity
Sell artisanal handmade goods using the Amazon Marketplace.
Amazon Handmade in more detail
Following the success of Etsy, Amazon has launched a space for those that handmade artisanal products to sell their wares. Called Amazon Handmade, it requires a strict application process to ensure that the products you sell are genuinely handmade.
There is a straightforward fee pricing structure for sellers, the only fee charged to sellers is a flat referral fee based on the selling price of 15% (currently 12.24% for the rest of 2021 because of the Pandemic).
You can sell all manner of products across several different categories, including artwork, baby products, clothing, bags, and jewelry. But you can’t use Amazon Handmade to sell digital products like e-books or any technology and electrical items.
Once you are accepted to the Amazon Handmade program, you are assigned your own vanity URL to list your products for sale.
You can drive your own traffic to your product page from your social media accounts or a blog. You can also promote your products using Amazon’s on-site PPC advertising services.
One of the benefits of selling handmade items is that you can design a range of products but only manufacture them when you receive an order. This way, you can keep control of costs and not have to invest heavily in stock from the outset.
As you are selling a premium handmade product, your customers are buying into your skills and exclusivity, so should be happy to wait until after you have made the product.
Some sellers have noted that the fees on Amazon are quite a bit higher than the ones charged by similar sites such as Etsy. However, Amazon has much higher traffic volumes, so this may be something you are prepared to live with in return for the increased exposure.

#13. Make Money on Amazon With Merch by Amazon
A quick summary of the opportunity
Sell t-shirts, hoodies, and coffee mugs printed on-demand with your own designs.
Merch By Amazon in more detail
Print-on-demand is not a new service; since the 1960s, screen printing’s wider availability made it easier for businesses to produce T-shirts and other goods on demand when a customer placed an order.
The internet, though, has made it simpler for companies to offer on-demand services. And Amazon joined the list of businesses providing print-on-demand services in 2015, with the launch of Merch by Amazon.
This make money opportunity is a pretty straightforward one;
- Create a design. It can just be a text slogan or a more creative piece of art.
- Choose the type of product people can buy with the design printed on it.
- List it for sale on the Amazon marketplace.
The obvious benefit of print-on-demand is that you don’t have to manufacture and pay for a load of stock upfront. So you can focus on creating designs instead.
However, the low barrier to entry for this business model, coupled with the overwhelming number of people who have signed up for the service, means that today the Merch by Amazon service is by invitation only.
There is an option to request an invitation on the Merch by Amazon homepage, so it must still be possible to enter the program. But, be prepared to make a compelling case to be accepted.
Merch by Amazon isn’t a path to fast wealth. You will be competing against thousands of other sellers, so your designs need to stand over and above the ones that others put out.
Your designs also must not infringe on anyone else’s copyrighted work, and Amazon may remove any of your designs without notice if they feel they are offensive or inappropriate.
The Merch by Amazon service is perhaps best for people who have built up an audience elsewhere, such as YouTube, and want to sell T-shirts and other goodies that make people feel they belong to an exclusive club.
How to get started with Merch by Amazon
To get started, head over to the Merch by Amazon page to request an invite.
#14. Make Money on Amazon With Amazon Accelerator Program
A quick summary of the opportunity
Build a private label business selling products under your own brand with the chance of your selling as one of Amazon’s ‘own brands.’
Amazon Accelerator in more detail
In 2022, Amazon achieved around $25 billion in sales of its own branded products.
But have you ever wondered how Amazon finds the time to design and develop all these various products in so many categories?
The short answer is they don’t. What Amazon does instead, in many cases, is choose products designed by third-party sellers which already have strong sales.
In the past, Amazon has been accused of stealing designs from successful sellers. But Amazon also actively works with third-party sellers to bring designs as an Amazon ‘our brand’ product.
Clearly, being selected as an ‘our brand’ product on Amazon will do wonders for your business. But how do you get your products noticed by Amazon in the first place?
One way is to sign up for the Amazon Accelerator program. Applying to join this program commits you to the possibility of Amazon buying your brand from you, then moving your role over to a supplier of Amazon.
That means losing control over your IP, and Amazon can make all the decisions about your brand and product moving forward, even taking over production. On the flip side, Amazon provides you with a range of tools to test, launch and market new products.
How to get started with the Amazon Accelerator Program
Head over the signup page for the Amazon Accelerator program.
#15. Make Money on Amazon With Amazon Dropshipping
A quick summary of the opportunity
Create product listings on Amazon to sell a third-party’s product directly to consumers; when you receive an order, the third-party ships it straight to the customer.
Amazon Dropshipping in more detail
Dropshipping is a business model where you act as a middle-person between a manufacturer/distributor and a customer.
It’s like a sales agent role. You list products for sale on a marketplace, then when you get a sale, you buy the product from the manufacturer/distributor who ships it directly to the buyer.
You earn money by pocketing the difference between the price you charge the buyer and the lower price the manufacturer/distributor charges you.
Setting up a dropshipping business on Amazon begins with product research. You need to find an in-demand item without too much competition. Once you have chosen the type of product you want to sell, you next then find a manufacturer/distributor of that product.
You should check if they provide a dropshipping service, and find out how much they charge for the cost of one product shipped directly to a third party. When you have this price, create a listing on Amazon and set a price plus shipping that covers your purchase cost and leaves you some profit.
Dropshipping on Amazon is a business with a low barrier to entry, so competition is fierce. But for those that get it right, it can be very profitable.
On the plus side, you don’t have any headaches with manufacturing, and you don’t need a great deal of capital to get up and running. On the downside, you’ll likely need to work hard on generating sales, which could mean finding sources of off-Amazon traffic or getting to grips with Amazon PPC advertising.
Another potential pitfall you need to be prepared for is shipping issues. Many dropshipping manufacturers/distributors are located in China, so your customers can wait several weeks before receiving their purchase shipped from such a distance.
And another thing to be mindful of is that you don’t get to see the products you’ve chosen to sell beforehand, so the quality of the finished product may not live up to the promise of the manufacturer’s sales images.
How to get started Making Money with Amazon Dropshipping
Many products sold by dropshippers on the Amazon marketplace are found on the Aliexpress website. Browse the website to discover products you’d like to sell.
You will need to do some detailed product research on Amazon before committing to a listing. JungleScout has a good post about the dropshipping model and also has the best tool for product research.

#16. Make Money on Amazon With Consulting Services for New Sellers
A quick summary of the opportunity
Sell your experience as an Amazon seller to help those just getting started on the platform.
Consulting Services in more detail
Consultancy services are easier to sell nowadays, thanks to the internet. If you have a good level of experience selling on Amazon, you can market and sell your services as a professional consultant.
In a business opportunity like Amazon, there is always someone new entering the marketplace. If you can provide value to them that saves them time on learning the platform or educating them on pitfalls to avoid, you can earn an income as a professional consultant.
There are several different areas where you might offer a service;
- Some people will want an introduction to the platform and need low-level assistance to get up and running.
- Some sellers will already be active on the platform but are having difficulty getting sales, so they will want help optimizing product listings.
- Other sellers may be doing OK, but they want to take it to the next level and understand the ins and outs of PPC.
Each circumstance calls for a different level of expertise, so there is plenty of scope to enter this market, even if you can only assist those launching on the platform for the first time.
As a consultant, you will need to demonstrate professionalism. Your clients will want to see tangible results if they are paying you for your expertise. So you should consider putting together some consultancy packages that explain in detail what your clients can expect.
How to get started as an Amazon Consultant
You could dip your toe in the water with a simple Fiverr gig, but to land serious clients with the promise of ongoing work, you’ll need your own website that communicates your value proposition.
Or approach one of the Amazon FBA course programs and offer your services as a consultant to their students for a cut of your income.
#17. Make Money on Amazon by Selling Your Own Online Course
A quick summary of the opportunity
Rather than selling your experience one to one as a consultant, package up your knowledge into an online video course and sell to many.
Selling an Online Course in more detail
If you’ve previously built your own business on Amazon either via FBA, arbitrage, merch, etc, or have worked with a successful Amazon business owner and have gathered the relevant expertise, you can easily package up your knowledge into a step by step video course and sell online.
Using online platforms such as thinkific.com or podia.com and your mobile phone and computer, you simply record & upload different modules covering all aspects of preparing, launching and growing an Amazon business.
If you already have an audience of some kind you could sell the course on your own website or social media platform. If not, use sites like udemy.com or skillshare.com to promote and sell your program.
An online course is a great way to monetize your skills and expertise to teach others how to build their own business using Amazon. On the downside, you do need to stay updated with the latest platform or regulation changes and be constantly updating your videos to reflect any new information.

#18. Make Money on Amazon With Amazon.jobs

Amazon.jobs is a recruitment website that advertises job opportunities for working directly for the company. Globally, Amazon employs around 1.25 million people, so there are thousands of jobs available across dozens of categories at any time.
The first role that likely springs to mind when working for Amazon is working in the Amazon Warehouse, picking orders and packing shipments. But Amazon is a global eCommerce business, so they need all manner of skills to run the business effectively.
There are roles available across all of the skills range, so if you have the knack for PR or an accomplished Solutions Architect, there are many opportunities to look at.
You won’t necessarily need to live close to an Amazon office or warehouse location either. Many of the advertised roles are remote-based. Amazon gives an example on the Amazon careers landing page of a Military Spouse working as a remote Customer Service Team Lead.
There are full-time and part-time jobs available, plus jobs just for students, too.

#19. Make Money on Amazon With Amazon Trade-In
A quick summary of the opportunity
Earn credit to spend on the Amazon store by trading in old, unwanted items.
Amazon Trade-in in more detail
While technically not a money-making method, the Amazon Trade-in program is a way to earn credit to spend when shopping on Amazon.
The trade-in service only accepts certain goods, and the items you can receive credit for may differ country-by-country. For example, on the amazon.com marketplace, you can trade-in all manner of electrical things like cell phones, Apple AirPods, books, and console games.
While on the amazon.co.uk site, you can only trade in Amazon devices like Kindle and Echo. So you will need to check first on your local Amazon website for what you can currently receive credit for.
Once you understand what they are accepting, you can start a side hustle using a kind of arbitrage model. You can keep an eye on the Facebook local classified listings to see if you can pick up potential trade-ins at a price where you can make money.
Similarly, you can go to local thrift stores, boot sales, and other general jumble sales to see if you can pick up trade-in products at the right price.
Of course, if you already own eligible trade-in products, you can send them in for Amazon credit. This can be a way to generate a little start-up capital for another business idea by spending your Amazon credit on your regular grocery items from Amazon instead of using your local currency.
How to get started
To make a start, check the Amazon Trade-In page for your local Amazon site to see what sort of items Amazon is currently accepting in your region.
#20. Make Money on Amazon With Amazon Flex
A quick summary of the opportunity
Earn money by working flexible hours as an Amazon delivery driver.
Amazon Flex in more detail
As everyone knows, Amazon’s eCommerce model is taking on the established brick-and-mortar stores and winning. And in most towns and cities today, the roads are awash with vans delivering online shopping parcels.
You can take advantage of this trend as a flexible delivery driver for Amazon. You will need to have a smartphone to use their delivery app, and you need to provide your own car. Typically, you work short 3.5 hour shifts, and if you work over 20 hours per month, you could qualify for a bonus.
On the downside, you have to pay for your fuel, plus there is the wear and tear on your car to account for too. But, if you find yourself needing to earn some money quickly, Amazon Flex could be an option to try.

#21. Make Money on Amazon With M-Turk
A quick summary of the opportunity
Earn money as a Mechanical Turk―doing repetitive microtasks remotely on your laptop.
Amazon MTurk in more detail
Amazon MTurk (Mechanical Turk) is a work from home opportunity you can do on your laptop.
Some businesses have big tasks that can only be done by a human, so they break it down into lots of small pieces and have multiple people work on it simultaneously using the Amazon MTurk service.
You can work when you want to, and at a pace that’s right for you, because MTurk work is piece work, so you are paid based on the volume of work you complete.
Gigs are simple things like filling in surveys or reading a document, and summarizing the main points.
You have to apply to posted gigs, so you’ll need to build up a track record and good reviews to land the best-paid jobs. But, even with the best-paid work, most MTurk workers report relatively low earnings of $5-$7 per hour.
So while you’ll never get rich as an MTurk, it can provide a route to earning some money for capital to invest in another Amazon business.
