2024 BMW X6 Review, Pricing | New X6 SUV Models | CarBuzz

A quick review of the new BMW X6 SUV’s changes for the 2024 model year reveals a thorough refresh with revamped styling, powertrain changes, new paint colors, and more options. Every 2024 X6 gets the M Sport package, complete with the blacked-out center portion of the front bumper, aggressive air intakes, and the adaptive M suspension. Other styling revisions include a larger kidney grille and new headlights with DRLs styled like twin outward-facing arrows; these also double as turn signals. The taillights and wheel designs are new as well. There are a few new paint colors, and the kidney grille can now optionally be illuminated.

The engines get 48V mild-hybrid assistance for 2024 and the 3.0-liter turbo-six in the xDrive40i is revised and gets a big power boost from 335 to 375 hp. The M50i xDrive trim is renamed M60i xDrive, and while its 523-hp power output remains the same, its 4.4-liter V8 engine is substantially redesigned and modernized, and it gains standard rear-axle steering.

Inside, the X6 gets the new Curved Display setup running iDrive 8 and incorporating the 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster and 14.9-inch infotainment touchscreen under one large pane of glass. The dashboard is substantially altered to accept the new setup, with discreetly integrated new air vents. A freshly available extra is a semi-autonomous Highway Assistant. With the new BMW X6’s price list starting at $73,900, the base trim is now around 5% more expensive than before – which is more than justified by its improvements.
