Perfect family car for 3 generation of 7 pax.

A excellent family car with lot of feature. Quiet drive. Although 107 bhp, driving up to Genting with 6 pax, can still fit 1 wheelchair, 3 mid size luggage with 1 3rd row seat down and doesn’t feel under power while climbing Genting highland or over taking on M’sia Highway.
What I dislike is the front Air-con not powerful, 2nd row air con is very weak and no air con on the 3rd row.
3rd row is fit for kids below 1.5m height.
The front L/R beam is thick and occasion obstruct view of pedestrian crossing if making a right turn.

I was initally excited in owning the GT. However after really bringing it for a drive, I noticed that the ride was noisy and a bit bumpy. Other than that, the engine and handing were good. After looking thru reviews and GT forum, I discovered that the main reason is that BMW use runflat tyres which are a lot stiffer than the normal tyres. It is said if the tyres are changed to conventional ones in replacement, the noise will significantly reduce and I am yet to find out

Affordable 7 seater for young family with kids

Drove this for over two years. Fulfilled my dream of having a BMW. Just wish they have a powerful engine for this car. Heavy, stable, excellent when cornering. Can automatically park in parallel lots. Just press button, release steering wheels and control the brake pedal.
Good for short drives in Singapore.
