Cách viết thư cảm ơn bằng tiếng Anh

1. Mở đầu thư cảm ơn bằng tiếng Anh

– Dear Mr … / Ms … ( nếu bạn biết tên người nhận )
– Dear Sir or Madam ( nếu bạn không biết tên người nhận )
– It was a pleasure meeting you at the conference this month. ( Rất hân hạnh vì đã được gặp bạn tại buổi hội thảo chiến lược vừa mới qua. )
– I appreciate your patience in waiting for a response. ( Tôi nhìn nhận cao sự kiên trì của bạn trong việc chờ đón phản hồi. )
– I hope you are enjoying a fine summer. ( Tôi kỳ vọng bạn đang có một mùa hè mê hoặc. )
– Thank you for your kind letter of January 8 th. ( Cảm ơn bạn vì bức thư ngày 8/1. )
– I came across an advertisement for your company in The Star today. ( Tôi vô tình nhìn thấy quảng cáo của công ty anh trên tờ báo The Star ngày ngày hôm nay. )

2.Phần kết thúc thư

– I look forward to … ( Tôi rất trông đợi … )
– Please respond at your earliest convenience. ( Xin hãy hồi âm ngay khi bạn có thời hạn. )
Trường hợp bạn mở màn bằng : Dear Mr, Dear Mrs, Dear Miss hay Dear Miss thì bạn nên kết thúc bằng cụm từ sau : Yours sincerely ( kính thư )
– I would be grateful if you could attend to this matter as soon as possible. ( Tôi sẽ cảm ơn rất nhiều nếu ông / bà hoàn toàn có thể xử lý yếu tố này càng sớm càng tốt. )

Trường hợp bạn khởi đầu viết thư bằng Dear Sir, Dear Madam hãy kết thúc bằng câu sau : Yours faithfully ( kính thư )

Tuy nhiên khi viết thư cảm ơn bằng tiếng Anh cần lưu ý một số vấn đề sau:

Bạn nên viết và gửi thư một cách sớm nhất có thể thông thường thì trong vòng 24h ngay sau khi các bạn được một thông báo về công việc hay một đề nghị hoặc nhận được quà tặng. Đồng thời hãy luôn lưu tâm đến phần viết thư cảm ơn bằng tiếng Anh và để ý đến nội dung bạn đề cập tới.
Trường hợp các bạn chỉ viết vài dòng thì hãy dùng “phần cảm ơn ngắn gọn bằng cách viết tay” không nên viết thư cảm ơn.
Trường hợp phỏng vấn khi xin việc thì bắt buộc phải viết thư cảm ơn.
Hãy nhớ đọc kỹ lại nội dung cần gửi và kiểm tra lỗi chính tả, ngữ pháp, lỗi in… tránh những nhầm lẫn.
Nếu có bất kì sự nghi ngờ nào về tên gọi hay cách viết tên của người nhận thư cảm ơn các bạn phải xác minh lại ngay trước khi gửi vì điều tối kị nhất là viết sai tên người nhận.
