Amazon’s Prime Day sale is just a few months away, and we can expect bargains for shoppers on everything from wireless headphones and gaming accessories to 4K TVs and electric toothbrushes.
One of the biggest online sales events outside of Black Friday and Cyber Monday, Prime Day usually sees prices dropping on thousands of gadgets and gizmos. And this year’s Prime Day sale is no exception, of course. In addition to flash sales across tech, there are also price cuts on its own-brand tech, including Echo smart speakers, Kindles, Fire tablets and everything in between.

Amazon Prime Day 2023 date – when is Amazon Prime Day 2023?
Unlike Black Friday, which is a predictable date every year, the day on which Amazon Prime Day falls is a bit more unpredictable. This is because Amazon doesn’t confirm the date until a few weeks before the event.
That means we don’t know when Amazon Prime Day 2023 will be yet. We can, however, make some predictions based on the previous Prime Day dates.
For starters, Amazon has always held Prime Day in July (aside from the two times it was postponed due to the pandemic), so we can be fairly certain that Amazon Prime Day 2023 will be held in July.
Previous Prime Days also tend to be in the first half of the month, so our best guess for 2023 is July 11 or July 12.
Of course, we’ll update you as soon as Amazon makes an official Prime Day date announcement.
Do you need an Amazon Prime membership?
Anything that specifically gets labelled as a Prime Day deal on its product listing is usually exclusive to members. So you’ll need to be signed up for the service to get these particular deals. Or, if you’ve never tried it before, this could be an opportunity to take up the free trial…
for UK users, or $14.99 per month/$139 per year in the US. (Note that the cost in a number of countries, including the UK, recently went up.)
